欧宝体育 Softball Earns No. 6 seed; Traveling to Tiffin for NCAA DII Tournament

The 欧宝体育 softball team earned the No. 6 seed in the NCAA Division II Tournament Midwest Regional the NCAA announced. The Flyers will compete in the Midwest Region 2 Bracket at the Paradiso Athletic Complex at Tiffin University against No. 3 seed Hillsdale in their first game at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (May 8). This marks the third consecutive season that 欧宝体育 has made the NCAA Tournament.
The top two seeds host four team pods with No. 1 Saginaw Valley State and No. 2 Tiffin earning that distinction. SVSU takes on the No. 8 seed Ferris State and will also host the winner of the No. 4 Findlay and No. 5 Drury matchup Thursday.牋
The No. 2 seed Tiffin hosts its game against the seventh-seeded Indianapolis. 欧宝体育 and Hillsdale complete the bracket. The winner of each four-team pod will advance to the Midwest Super Regional, where they will face off against each other on May 15-16.
The Flyers are 36-18 this season and coming off a loss in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament against Maryville.
